Frederick's Restaurant, Bar and Lounge

With the opening of FREDERICK'S, a restaurant, bar and lounge housed in the historic Grand Hotel Esplanade – now part of the Center Potsdamer Platz – Berlin is set to experience a sparkling revival of a 1920s social haunt. Prepare to be impressed: you will encounter a stylish culinary complex with restaurant, two bars, lounge and deli on around 1,400 square meters that picks up on the bohemian glamour of past times and brings it into the present with a lot of charm and wit.

Berlin's new venue is operated by the London-based Rhubarb Hospitality Collection, which manages various restaurants in London and New York. On site, the well-being of the guests is taken care of by a team of accomplished professionals with a lot of Berlin experience, among them Managing Director Jürgen Klümpen and Bar Manager Arnd Henning Heißen. Head chef at FREDERICK'S is Marcus Prahst, who prior to his new engagement worked in the brand marketing studio of Hello Fresh as well as chef de cuisine at Heimlichtreu restaurant and sous chef at SOHO House, among other positions.
